but if a christian died for a fellow believer, which they regularly tell us from the platform that we should be prepared to do, the person who gave their life would be 'dust' for goodness knows how long, with an unknown future hope.. if someone asked me to die a painful death to save millions of people, knowing i would feel great in a few days' time, i'd probably do what jesus did too..

i saw it at the meeting this week and was horrified at how corporate and commercial it was, plus all the tourism stuff like kids getting photos with caleb and sophia, so wondered if it's possible to download or at least view again online somewhere?.
Is there anywhere it can be viewed online? I want to see it again and save it.

the congregation i attend had it's watchtower study on thursday night because of l.d.c work this week-end, and another congregation i have some not very spiritual friends in had their watchtower study on wednesday.
from what i have delicately prised out of people, the congregations loved the watchtower study this week, saying it was so encouraging and all the usual stuff, with no-one seeming to realise the g.b.
said they're not inspired, so the spirit int he past has moved them to teach wrong things, and all the other ideas excellently summed up on reddit.. today's watchtower will wash over the heads of most j.w's like it never even happened, the all remaining as loyal as ever, and it makes me so, so sad..
The Congregation I attend had it's Watchtower study on Thursday night because of L.D.C work this week-end, and another Congregation I have some not very spiritual friends in had their Watchtower study on Wednesday. are really you when it comes to every day interactions....ie when at work, with family or friends, or if attending meetings?.

Yes, totally. I'm PIMO (physically in, mentally out) and trying to fade. I have had to repress my true self at meetings and when associating with family, because otherwise I'd be DF'ed. It's really, really hard and has made me suicidal in recent times.
The hardest bit is seeing relatives, friends and congregants who are besotted with the organisation simply seeming unable to see the hypocrisy and other problems, leaving me feeling like it's ME who has the problem and is the idiot.

my interest was piqued by the jw claim that the court hearing is a "high-profile case".
The rather grander photo including Putin has been published by other online newspapers, though, so it's not just the J.W's using I don't think?
